 Raiding is a state of mind more than an actual instance; it's the ability to work within a group at an extremely high level. Maximizing every utility of your class and even more important; using your utility to enhance those in your group. Someone once told me that to be good, to really be good you have to know what every class can do, the mechanics of their utility, etc.

 Being Prepared, not just a statement; fact! Videos, Vent Q&A, Blogs, PTR are all excellent ways to get up to speed on boss's, mechanics, and tricks & tips. Don't burden your lack of unpreparedness onto a raid leader or your officer's. Take responsibility for yourself, your toon, and your actions.

 On time; ready to go, Flasks, Potions, Every piece of gear properly enchanted and gemmed. Good tip here is to be on at least 30 minutes before raid time to check everything so that your not feeling rushed and overly anxious at boss pull.

 IMO, the best raiders are not always the most “Leet”. They are the people who perform at an extremely high level; always prepared, never late, and listen to instruction with patience and consideration for the raid leader or officer calling the fight.

 You are not the Raid leader, No one likes a clusterfuck in vent, it’s painful to most of our ears, and it’s distracting to most. Unless you’re directly spoken to about a certain mechanic or personal utility you should not speak during encounters. If you feel like you’re capable of micro managing a raid and have the ability to still maintain your utility then speak to an Officer or Gm there is always potential for more raiding.
